The aim of the merger is to bring an unbeatable product portfolio to the market and to combine the respective strengths.

Unbeatable product portfolio
The combination of the advanced technologies and comprehensive expertise of both companies will create a product portfolio that is unrivalled in the industry. We contribute our expertise in the area of high-performance inserting systems for high to very high production volumes, while Müller contributes its leading solutions in the area of medium to high production volumes. Together, we offer a wide range of systems and solutions on a platform that meet the highest standards and increase efficiency and productivity in a wide variety of customer segments.

Combined strengths
The collaboration will make it possible to optimally utilise resources and synergies by expanding Müller's existing production of standard parts and providing production space that is lacking at the site in Konolfingen/Switzerland.
Robert Fortmeier, owner of Müller Apparatebau GmbH, will take a financial stake in Kern AG. He will also be given a seat on the Board of Directors and will strengthen the 5-member board with his many years of market knowledge in mechanical engineering.
Outlook for Hunkeler Innovationdays
Customers, interested parties, partners and the trade press can already look forward to our joint trade fair appearance during the Hunkeler Innovationdays from 24 - 27 February 2025 in Lucerne, when we will present the strengthening of our product portfolio to a wide audience.
